Basketball: Isiah Thomas is a Cal man; former NBA star working toward masters in education

Former NBA star Isiah Thomas is taking classes at Berkeley — reportedly only about 10 units from completing his masters degree at Cal’s school of education.

I like him – he’s smart cool and tough. He didn’t turn out too well as a coach however, and I’m not really sure why.

Cool. But can he recruit for Monty too?
And I wonder if he ever laces them up in the RSF? That would be spectacular!! Can u imagine playing intermurals and all of a sudden you’re guarding a hall-of-famer?? LOL.

He was my favorite player growing up. That’s pretty awesome that he’s a bear.
