Football: Freshman WR Bryce Treggs eager to follow in dad’s formidable footsteps

He was the first Cal player to score a touchdown in the renovated Memorial Stadium, but freshman wideout Bryce Treggs has a long way to go to exceed the achievements of his father, Brian, a former star in Berkeley.

  1. JF, they got you humping and pumping. Great work! It is appreciated!

  2. Bryce will not be able to match his father’s accomplishments as long as Barbour/Teford and Co. is in charge

  3. When it was suggested that Bryce Treggs had a better college debut than his dad, Tedford asked, “Did his dad win his first game?”

    Yes was the response.

    “Then he didn’t.”

Hahaha…Tedford, then you are no better than Holmoe circa 2001, right now! I’ve got to remain positive, but it’s difficult, so let’s get the train back on the tracks, huh?

  4. Have to agree with Wehofx… Jeff you’re the James Brown of local sports, the hardest working man in the sports business. For whatever my two cents are worth, GREAT job and VERY much appreciated. Thanks!!

  5. Thanks for the feedback, Wehofx and Dan. Appreciate the good words.
