Although miracles usually are the cause of positive action, and I have a feeling that if somehow the Bears win, it would be because osu simply was oh so TERRIBLE…

How many fgs of less than 20yds will JT settle for in this game? I say at least 2. And at least one punt on less than 4th and 3 in osu territory. You gotta have guts for a miracle to happen, and JT has none, as his continuing desire to kick illustrates. Still can’t believe he settled for the fg from the 1 vs southern utah…wtf is wrong with that guy? No wonder Maynard was po’d, weren’t you?

I just read that OSU is hosting a collegiate rugby 7′s tournament this weekend and Cal will be sending a squad to take part. Hopefully one of our teams will make a good showing in Columbus.

If the Bears do go to Ohio to win, be competitive and execute well, they might surprise a lot of people, including some who claim to be their fans. I hope they do well and make it an interesting game. Otherwise, its going to be a long trip and tough weekend for the team.

Great point CalBearister. In past years, Zach has normally padded his numbers early, then faded fast and regressed. This year he hasn’t even come out the gate fast and shined. Maybe he hasn’t made too many mistakes, but he is underwhelming against weak teams. Tedford tries to smooth everything over. I think that is part of the cultural problem. These are football players. Don’t throw anyone under the bus, but just say that everyone’s play is not acceptible and get onto the practice field and work the snot out of them. He is not the coach for our future, not even our present.
