  1. I would prefer 3 pm. I have rim seats that would have a great view of the gate if it were light out. Pre game tailgate in the dark also. Still I don’t have to hustle up from LA for a noon game. Never seen a night game at Memorial.

  2. But what about the tradition of playing college football on a Saturday under a bright fall afternoon sun?

“It’s all about bucks, kid. The rest is conversation.”

Get used to it Bear fans. If the Pac 12 Network wants a Tuesday 7 PM slot, they’ll get it.

  3. All good with me. Get everything done for the weekend Saturday morning. Kids games are over. Get to town about 3 or 4pm to tailgate. Go to game. Go home go to bed.
I don’t want every game at 7pm but once or twice a year is great.
Agree 2-5pm is prime time start time though.

This old Bear gets a bit sleepy driving home to the 707 after midnight.

What are those drinks the young kids guzzle?

“Why back in my day” we only had coffee and Mountain Dew; “And we liked it!” Dana Carvey cultural reference lost on younger bloggers.

More “Grumpy Old Man” for the middle-aged and old Bears.

Dana Carvey: I’m old and I’m not happy. Everything today is improved and I don’t like it. I hate it! In my day we didn’t have hair dryers. If you wanted to blow dry your hair you stood outside during a hurricane. Your hair was dry but you had a sharp piece of wood driven clear through your skull and that’s the way it was and you liked it!

  5. By the way. Where do people tailgate? Im an alumni and all but to he honest other than the fraternities ive never really tailgated. Where is there parking ?

  6. my old frat buddies go to the alumni house since the house got shut down.
