Under a new head coach, if Tedfraud wants to be a red ass wit hthe $$, then I would make him Master of Cleaning Toilets and make him moonlight as Head Honcho of Stadium cleanup on home game days.

If he’s goign to ruin the Cal program in 2013-2015? by insistign on all his $$ then demote him to dual duties of cleanup and see how long he lasts. I’m banking that 6 months of scrubbign toilets would have him contacting the athletic department asking for a settlement and freedom. And after the settlement is finalized, terminate Barbour for that idiotic contract.

This has been coming for years. What a mess

That coach in waiting needs to be a fiery innovator who will be guaranteed the HC’s chair in 2016. He also needs to be given a lot of player control immediately while JT handles some “administrative stuff.” (Does anybody really think that Jo Pa or Bobby Bowden were running their teams in the latter years?) And here’s the hard part….he needs to be paid entirely from Tedford’s salary package.

If Tedford was a real man, that’s what he would do. He could carve off a million dollars from his annual salary to pay the new HC in waiting. That alternative is far better than having a bunch of wealthy boosters buy out his contract in what would sure to be a messy and embarrassing proceeding that would forever tarnish his image. The team could get resurrected and JT could ride off in the sunset a real hero after his contract is expired.

Pure fantasy, I know. The reality is that no one is going to come forward to buy out his contract, and the state certainly doesn’t have the money to do it. We are going to hear adnauseam how Mike Riley brought Oregon State back from a couple of losing seasons…so can Jeff with all the great new facilities. And this arrogant stiff is going to haunt all of us for several more Holmoesque seasons.
