Few things bring me as much emotion as seeing a list of bars. A few notes:
Goat Hill Pizza – most overrated pizza I’ve ever had. Trendy and hipsterish. Pizza sucks.
Pizza Orgasmica – delightful.
Kip’s – when I was in school I was once kindly requested to leave the premises. Someone never forgets the first bar they’re kindly encouraged to vacate due to unforeseen circumstances. That night I ended up meeting and drinking with Alex Pribble who played on the basketball team.
Mr. Lucky’s – after graduating from Cal I moved to Walnut Creek. Boy is that place boring when you’re in your early 20s. But on the flip side – the very first bar I went to was in fact Mr. Lucky’s, and I did in fact, get Lucky. I will always regret losing the Mr. Lucky’s t shirt I had in remembrance of said event. But a young woman with negotiable morality took it.
