Basketball: Hoops practice gets under way and Montgomery feeling good after 2011 scare

It was just about one year ago when Cal basketball coach Mike Montgomery shared that he’d been diagnosed with bladder cancer, underwent surgery and was declared healthy.

I talked with him about the ordeal and how he views life and coaching as he begins his fifth season in Berkeley.
