Former Cal star Aaron Rodgers promised he’d fix what was wrong.
How’s this for delivering on his vow: Rodgers set a career high and tied the Green Bay franchise record with six touchdown passes as the Packers routed the previously unbeaten Houston Texans 42-24.
Rodgers, unhappy with the way he’d played as the Packers won just two of their first five games, was 24 for 37 for 337 yards.
“We’re all just tired of answering questions about what happened to the Packers, what happened to me,” Rodgers told NBC’s Michele Tafoya.
The Texans had allowed just six TD passes all season before Rodgers lit them up.
