Newby would get a great education at Cal and have a great chance to move on to the NFL based on Cal’s track record of putting players into the League.
Cal just landed the biggest recruit in the country in any sport in Missy Franklin, California is a great school and great place to be.
He also would play a lot as a true freshman. Right now we have Bigelow, who is a great talent but he has not yet proven to be an every down back.
Cal needs to land a great talent at RB this recruiting year and whoever that back is will have a tremendous opportunity to be featured early.
Whoever the coach at Cal is…

200 plays? More like 700 plays. And yet, seemingly the most predictable and easiest to stop offense in the Pac 12.

The conference ought to kick out Cal and CU and bring in Boise State and Nevada.

I was at the ND-Loyola game last night, won by ND. Two recruits – Khalfani Mohammed (Cal HS track champ in 100 and 200) and Koa Farmer (great receiver, 6′ 3″) are attending today’s Big Game.
