Memo to Tedford…….I know you’re known as the QB guru, but I think you have a fetish for Diva WRs…..the last 2 you’ve allowed to ruin your teams……Jackson turned the locker room into a war zone, which torched that season….then you somehow land Allen and because of that we’re forced to witness Maynard for 2 years, who by the way looks just as over his head as he did when he started his first game at Cal…which brings me back to your QB guru status….it’s officially gone, disappeared…just like your head coaching ability

It will be interesting to see if Cal will pony up the money to hire a HC with a track record of winning, good recruiting and the intuitive ability to mold and motivate today’s young athletes to their optimum performances.

None of those other mirrors have had any first person experience in years.

Mirror – “Sorry Master, bur that would be either Bill Walsh or Vince Lombardi”

JT – “I meant best living coach”

Mirror – “that would be Chip Kelly master”

JT – ” but mirror, how can you say that? I think I’m the best there is!”

Mirror – “Sorry master, but you’re not even the best coach on this side of the bay. That honor goes to Coach Ladouceur at De La Salle High School”

JT – “well, that guy is really good, I guess I’ll have to settle for second best then. No shame that!”

Mirror – “Sorry master, but that honor goes to Coach Bergman at Monte Vista High School”

JT – pondering that he isn’t even the 2nd best coach in his neighborhood, then calls out to his wife … “HONEY! We NEED to get a new mirror! NOW!!!”

And there you have Tedford looking into the mirror at himself first. We’ve traveled this road before, and heard this story before. This fairy tale does not have a happy ending for Golden Bear alums and fans.

As I have said MANY times, Oregon has true freshmen log major minutes in their offense and defense every season, but rare is the Cal player under Tedford, especially on offense, that sees the field much. Tedford can’t find a way or create a way to get one of the most explosive, talented and game breaking players I’ve ever seen, Brendon Bigelow, more than a few token plays a game- usually when the game has long been decided in the other team’s favor.

Also, I dont blame Tyler Rigsbee for speaking up supporting Tedford. That guy has been allowed to retain his starting position all season, along with his brother, despite both being mediocre at best, while also causing multitudes of penalty yards, usually in drive killing fashion. They both look sloppy and out of shape to boot. If I were Rigsbee, I’d be backing Tedford too. Why don’t we ask the Rigsbee’s backups off the record what they think of Tedford?

By the way, both Rigsbee’s were highly recruited and I have no doubt they could be very good and greatly improved – if they were playing at Oregon or SC. Just one more “symptom” indicating the greatness of the Cal program under Tedford.
