TakeOff – I hope a family member, friend, or the family pet didn’t cross you today. Fire Monty, as in someone here posting thinks Monty should be fired? I’m not seeing that, or anything resembling that negative towards Monty on this or any other thread. Am I missing something? I do get that you aren’t being literal, but still …

I will say it wasn’t exactly Monty’s or his team’s finest hour, as Mizzou last season or the NCAA embarrassment to South Florida also not. But I Wouldn’t trade Monty for Ben Braun back, thats for sure. In fact, the only coach in the P12 I would trade Monty for is Sean Miller. I also think Dana Altman could be a keeper. I do wish we had better bigs and more bigs, and that we didn’t have as many non contributors as we do.

Take- Get some anger management.

NO rankings early in the season are bible but guess what – and this is way above your level of comprehension– its based on their record.

If a team loses and/or gets blown out ( this means Take off that they lose by alot) it is factored into the rankings.

Wisconsin is a young team ( yes I already wrote that before ) so their rankings will probably increase as the year goes on.

Takeoff why not read the other comments? Only you seem to think this loss was ok.

Game wasn’t available on tw. Based on rosters, wisc sounds like a small team, too?

Also sounds like another example of Pac 12 officiating not only sucking but also not allowing any contact, esp compared to other leagues. Calling so many touch fouls in league play always seems to hurt pac 12 in the tourny when some banging is allowed.

Did we look soft?

And StevInTexAss is already quoting CBS rankings like it’s the F-ing bible. Could be a long season. I mean, if Steve and CBS say Wisonsin is #164 then it must be a fact.

YSo, you actually believe there are 163 better teams than the Badgers?

Also, Monty should be fired for this loss, right?

It wasn’t as close as the score Wisconsin allowed every player on its roster to play as well as some local high school kids who happened to be watching and wearing the Wisc uniforms.

Cal played as soft as a baby behind today.
Cobbs and Soloman were particulary thrown off by the tough Badgers and refs.
Can’t be taken out of your game to win on road and in march.
Team needs to learn a lesson from this one fast or this is going to be a repeat of last year.
Ouch.

Nice egg laid in Madison by the Bears. They were absolutely out-”everythinged” by UW. And the Badgers aren’t even that good this season. The Badgers already have 3 losses this season, yet the Bears have a 28 point deficit as I type this. This is worse than Mizzou last season. Far worse.

Good thing the P12 is mediocre, at best, again this season. Cal might have a chance to finish 2nd or 3rd. But that won’t make them very good. They’d easily finish in the lower half of the MWC.
