Concord – you are correct -technically but I remember him from Stanford and really its not a big issue with me. I actually have friends who went to Stanford.

A true boat racing, regardless of how we practiced during the week. Monty got this one right: we did not compete and that is all there is to it. Learn and move on. That was a terrible display of Cal Basketball.

Steve,
Monty is not a stanford guy, he is a long beach st guy.
He is a pro and cares about winning where he is the coach.
Hold anything you want against him that is accurate. A stanford guy would never accept a job at Cal just like a Bear would never be a tree.
Need more than a couple guys that can play this year.
Other players on our team need to step up if we are going to be a good team.

One loss isn’t the end of the world nor do I need the morens and takeoffs to state my position for me.

I am not a fan of Monty nor of many from Stanford but nor do I think he should go after one bad game.

If Cal wins the next two – we will be looking pretty decent.

Concord we are not sure if Wisconsin is good. They have lost 3 games and were blown out by 20 v Florida-none of the losses were especially close.

We assume they are good because they are in the top conference and because they are usually good. Wisconsin lost its star and team leader Jordan Taylor, as well as Rob Wilson, Jared Uthoff. Its expected that by mid season they will be a good team but they aren’t now.

TakeOff – I hope a family member, friend, or the family pet didn’t cross you today. Fire Monty, as in someone here posting thinks Monty should be fired? I’m not seeing that, or anything resembling that negative towards Monty on this or any other thread. Am I missing something?

The Bears were dominated today.
By a team that played hard and tough but should have never blown us off the court.
To get beat that bad by a team that is good but not great is a disgrace.
