Also, no on Hue Jackson and Greg Roman. Jackson makes less than zero sense, I haven’t heard even one compelling reason he even deserve an interview. I’m also down on Roman, watching the Niners settle for field goals for over 1 1/2 seasons, heck they play for field goals- I’m over it. Roman and his play calling are very much reminding me of bad Tedford.

My choices are-

1). Chris Petersen
2). Chris Petersen
3). Chris Petersen

4). Gary Anderson
5). Mike McIntire
6). Mark Helfrich or Derek Mason

It’s Chris Peterson or bust for me. I’d be pleased with Andersen, OK with Mike Mc, kind of jazzed about Helfrich or Mason, even though Andersen or McIntyre would be the safer bet.

But if thats who they hire ill be on board.

Also lead nation in penalties. In his three years there the penalties have been a consistent problem.

This isnt my guy. I just get the sense this is a hire to try to out oregon, oregon. Which for me isnt right. Id rather we go back to the pro style and the running heavy team that opened up the play action. We should have never changed the rodgers years offense.

We had enough of the dink dunk spread passing this year. Dykes does that silly thing where they go to the line of scrimmage then look at the sidline for a coachs call.

After watching his highlights i had maynard / tdford flashbacks. Pretty much the same offensewe sawthis year.

If so, maybe Dykes just didn’t recruit defensive players very well, so that when his own players were starting, the defense struggled. However, that theory doesn’t completely make sense since the D-Coord was still around and probably played a big role in recruiting defensive players.

The 2012 defense obviously concerns me, but I think we need to take a look at the bigger picture and determine whether that year was the exception, or the rule.

And their starters are just about all upper classmen. So im not sure why they had such a big dropoff.
