Football: Sofele, Williams win Cal MVP awards

A couple days late with this, but Cal passed out its team awards Sunday and senior RB Isi Sofele and senior CB Steve Williams won MVP honors.

So Bigalow earns an award for special academic achievement, but wasn’t smart enough to grasp Tedford’s offense? Wow, me thinks we waited a little too long to give the head guy the boot.

I think the award was for academic improvement. the bar may have been low initially. let’s hope he continues to improve.
