Allen is – again, alas – yet another player who apparently won’t graduate. (He’s projected to go in Round 1 of the draft, so I guess, what’s the point of graduating?)

Alas, another Bear with mega-talent that didn’t play up – or wasn’t really allowed to play up – to it. I am sorry about Tedford, but hope the next regime won’t waste players. (It was happening to Bigelow, you just know it.)

The guys was a freak of nature amazing athlete that produced for us. I’m thankful he came to Cal, but for some reason, his early departure doesn’t sting as much as when Rodgers, Lynch or DJax left.

I just think there was too much negativity surrounding the program, including the controversy around his brother, our record during his time in Berkeley and Tedford’s dismissal that unfortunately clouds all the positive things he brought to the program.
