Football: Is this the end for Tony Gonzalez?

Cal alum Tony Gonzalez, the No. 2 NFL receiver of all-time, isn’t saying whether Sunday’s playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks will be the final game of his career.
After catching 93 passes this season for the Atlanta Falcons, Gonzalez told the Associated Press there’s a 95-percent chance he won’t return.
But no official announcement will come until deep into the offseason, he said.
Here’s more on perhaps the greatest tight end in NFL history.
Meanwhile . . .
– Ex-Cal kicker Ryan Longwell will be on the field for the first time in a year when he subs for the Seahawks.
– Running back Marshawn Lynch us nursing a foot injury, but the Falcons expect the former Cal star to be ready.

Riddle me this.
Can you guys imagine if tony g wins the super bowl. Retires. Then takes a job with Cal staff. Something like a co-offensive coordinator / lead of recruiting.
Im salivating just thinking of that. The recruiting part is the important one. Get him on staff in any capacity but have him be a rockstar in recruiting.
I hope everyone this sunday makes time to thank zack kline for bringing warmth to this cold esistence. Amen.

Hermanos. Allow me to offer everyone a tasty morsel of good news.
Johnny ragin who was on an official visit this past weekend. Hes committed to byu. A physical specimen. Think brennan scarlett.
He has changed his twitter avatar to him wearing Cal jersey in the locker room. The chatter on this gentleman was he may glip to cal. Now i gotta feeling well be getting confirmation in a day or two.

Juancho I wanted him for coach but we have one now.
Hopeful news on that recruit.
A pretty good NFL team could be made from Cal Grads. On offense alone Rodgers, Gonzales, Jackson, Lynch, Forsett and Best.

I was looking forward to seeing Jeremy Ross last night, and he immediately muffed the punt. Too bad. He is a superior athlete but lacks great hands. That will probably be it for him. Took his eye off the ball.

#5 meant, “Fellow recruiting geeks.”
Marshawn’s fumbles must’ve had Coach Gould screaming at the tv. But Shane has gotta be putting a smile on his face. #34 doing the Bears proud.
…and Bryan Anger – punter
Twitter rumor: we lost Hooper to furd.
