Cal’s last game vs CO before Monty was 2003-2004. Cal lost 78-60.

Beat them in 2001 and 1989.

Lost in 2000 and 1987.

Other 10 matchups were before 1975.

And you conclude Monty has killed our longstanding tradition of beating Colorado?

We sued to beat them handily untl Monty became coach- I believe we lost 4 of the last 5 against them.

Ummmm, Cal didn’t play Colorado regularly until after Monty became coach, but sure, make up whatever you want.

It seemed like most of the times we played them we were favorites too.

Maybe Monty is experimenting and laying low so that we are in the best shape for the Pac12 tourney instead of peaking early. Then with a 10 game winning streak we could go far in NCAA’s. That is the most optimistic scenario I can muster.
