Former Cal star wide receiver Keenan Allen will skip the workouts portions of the NFL combine after aggravating the knee he sprained late last season, ESPN reported.
Allen is expected to undergo a medical exam at the combine, but will not participate in any drills. He reportedly will hold a workout for NFL scouts at Cal in April.
The combine begins Saturday at Indianapolis.

Keenan is leaving as a junior. Most other people would leave school also if given the opportunity to play in the NFL.
Thanks Keenan. I really appreciated your playing at Cal. Best wishes at the next level. I will be cheering for you on Sundays.

Is Keenan Allen too fragile to play in the NFL?

He pulled his Labia Majora the last few games of the season. Nothing a few million dollars can’t cure.

Keenan seemed to have some form of ‘clinker’ each season; plus, even during off season.
