Did anyone else notice that we swept the ore schools because of two incredibly stupid decisions by the opponents?

We won at ore cuz of the ridiculously stupid offensive goal-tending to end the first half on the 3 by Singler. 3 points lost on that play, we won by 2.

We won at osu by 1. We started the game up by 1 because of the warm-up dunk by the shaftenshacheres, or whatever his name is.

Crabbe played like crap, despite the nine rebounds. His body language was pathetic throughout the game, probably because he thinks he gets fouled on every drive and they "never" call it. NBA scouts notice body language and if he can't play with intensity EVERY game his draft stock will slip.

I just finished coaching a season of JV basketball and the thing I learned this year is that basketball players either have active (semi-aggressive) body language or passive body language. I think we know which type Jason Kidd and Jorge Gutierrez had - EVERY GAME. Successful players are aggressive - Crabbe plays very passively at times.

I am very glad Cal won, don't get me wrong, but that was a very uninspired effort by Crabbe, the so-called leader. Cobbs should get player of the week, he deserved it. Crabbe needs to grow up and play hard or he'll be back at Cal next year...maybe had Monty "shoved" him again Cal woulda won by 20, like they should have against a garbage osu team. Very frustrating game to watch, Monty prolly got 1000 more greys during it. But a win is a win is a win, i guess...

Looking forward to Thurs, we better crush the utes. Go Bears! The championship is there for the taking!

Saw the last quarter of the game from L.A. OSU's Burton seems to just back into anyone he wants. Can anyone explain to me why a defender who is pinning himself up to a player is called for blocking when Burton moves into Soloman SLOWLY. If he did it fast it would be charging. The difference in speed at which an offensive player moves into (or further into) an immobile defensive player should not make any difference -- fast or slow contact should both be called charging. . Wonder if Monty has ever brought up that point.

Disc don't throw Red Meat at me. LOL

#1 Indiana has not won any games by just 1 - Its closest victory was at Michigan State by 4.

2 Its 3 loses including OT were to ranked teams either at the time or now.

3. Indiana and Syracuse are not of the same quality.

Cal Rugby deserves a note of mention, downing UCLA 75-22 @ UCLA today and then winning the match between the reserve squads 81-0. If only we could bottle the energy they take into every match....and Cal WBB too, who stepped up their games to win Friday night without a key starter. Grateful for the wins by the men's BB team the past three weeks...but don't know what their game would look like in the NCAA's.

The Bears are hard to diagnose. At times they can play with and beat the best. Sometimes, they just seem hapless and helpless. Yet, they are winning down the stretch. From the beginning I have exalted Justin; and, said that Monty is among the best coaches. I iterate those points now. This group of players seems coherent...they will have the chance to prove their cohesion at home!

Light blue unis honored Burton's Native American heritage. N7 is an initiative by Nike to promote fitness in Native American communities. Pretty cool, but I'm gald the Bears made sure the Beavs wore them in a loss. Three Ws in a row to close out the season should get us at least a share of the Pac 12 title. Confident Oregon and U of A will both lose at least once each over the next two weeks. Go Bears!

Yeah, no one ever says anything when Indiana or Syracuse wins by one. A W is a W at this point, it's all the matter. Losing by 1 or 10 would have been horrible.

Sweep the home games, Bears!

Way too close, but these are games we historically lost, and we just won two on the road.

Now...no excuses at home. Win all three and we may be in no matter what (and maybe Pac-12 champs - dare I dream?)
