I hope the guys are fired up for the opportunity to get a share of the conf title and make the tourney. Both Oregon and UCLA have tough road trips next week so the door is open! Same situation as last year, same teams but this time we’re at home and playing our best basketball. Go Bears!

Most people expect us to win this game — much less certainty of a win for the Colorado and Stanford games. SotThis is the potential trap game, like the OSU game almost was. Things could get easily get unhinged, like last year, if we don’t win this game. The fans need to play their part to secure a victory for Cal tonight.

If the game was at Utah, I’d be concerned. The fans are going to be fired up. I’m excited for this one.

Hope people with tickets try to get to the game as close to the starting 6 p.m. time as possible, to get the crowd yelling loudly for the team as early as possible. At the last 6 p.m. game at home, against UCLA, Haas was only one-third full at tipoff and a lot of the late arrivals did not arrive until right before halftime.

This is a scary game. Coming off two close wins on the road and preceding two bigger games. It has all the makings of a trap game. Let’s hope they’re focused and play one game at a time.
