Cal has released salary information on its new football assistant coaches in response to our public records request. Still unavailable because the contracts are not finalized is information on the salaries of coordinators Andy Buh and Tony Franklin.

All of the assistant coaches receive one-year deals that include a one-time $5,000 signing bonus. All also can earn an additional $10,000 if the Bears play in a non-BCS bowl game, with that bonus increasing to a max of $35,000, should Cal reach the national championship game.
