Basketball: Kidd, Knicks win 12th straight

He’s not the player he once was, but 40-year-old Jason Kidd contributed 14 points Sunday as the NY Knicks beat the Oklahoma Thunder 125-120 on the road for their 12th straight victory.

Kidd, who was a freshman at Cal 20 years ago, shot 4 for 6 from the 3-point arc, had six rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Knicks reached 50 wins for the first time in 13 seasons.

It equaled Kidd’s highest-scoring game since Jan. 5.

i was rooting for them and watched the game. too bad they let it slip. that’s why i can’t watch Cal sports. they suck me in time after time. Reminds me of Ben Braun days when Cal would lose to a team they shouldn’t to. Then the next game you think why even bother watching and then they win. Then the next game you get excited and you watch and they let you down.

Lady Bears had 10 point lead at the half and should have won this game, but let it slip. still a great run in the NCAAs and a great job all around. wish they could have won it all.
