Cal begins fall training camp on Monday and, as advertised, all practices are scheduled to be open to the public.
All five weekday practices the first week will begin at 5 p.m.
The Bears’ first practice in pads will be Saturday, Aug. 10, beginning at 4 p.m. On Sunday, Aug. 11, practice also begins at 4 p.m.
Afternoon practices Monday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 16 are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The Bears also will hold freshmen developmental practices each morning that week except Tuesday, Aug. 13, all at 9:30 a.m.
Practices from Saturday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Aug. 23 all begin at 4 p.m.
Training camp winds on Saturday, Aug. 24 with an 11 a.m. workout, followed by Golden Bear Day presented by Bug Zappers Pest Control, a free event at Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza at Memorial Stadium from 2 to 4 p.m. PT on Aug. 24 where fans will have an opportunity to meet the team.
Practice times are subject to change. Those changes will be posted at Calbears.com, and I will try to keep readers updated here, too.
