Allan Bridgford, who left Cal last spring after being told he wouldn’t factor into the quarterback battle, is starting for Southern Miss.

Bridgford has thrown for 599 yards through two games, with two touchdown passes and five interceptions.

He had 377 yards a week ago against Texas State, then 222 Saturday at Nebraska. The Golden Eagles, however, lost both games.

Since Bridgford started 3 games last year how is he eligible to play?

  • Will

@Takeoff – Since he graduated, he doesn’t have to sit out a year.

  • Larry

He had to find a school which didn’t have any Graduate majors that Cal has, so he enrolled at So.Miss as a grad student in alligator husbandry with a minor in hurricane studies.

Marcus Arroyo is o/c at southern miss.

    Thanks, Will.

Larry – I think you are joking but I’m worried you’re not.

Good to see Bridgford found a home.
