Bottoms Up

This is very little advance warning, I know – but I just got an email from David Keene, proprietor of the Toronado, 547 Haight St., in San Francisco. He says George Schneider, owner of the Schneider Brewery, Kelheim, Bavaria, Germany, will be at the Toronado beginning at 6 p.m. Friday night (June 9, 2006). He’ll be pouring Aventinus, Weiss, and Edel Weiss, weisswurst will be served from Rosamunde.

No charge. If you know Schneider beers, you’ll no doubt be there. If not, there couldn’t be a finer introduction to five star classics like Schneider Aventinus.
