The calendar items keep coming. Here’s one you might not know about, but especially if you live in the South Bay, the 30th Annual Campbell Highland Games in downtown Campbell looks like fun: Lot’s of beer, from Moylan’s in Novato, naturally, and er– ancient Celtic games, the music, the kilts, the sheer raucous wonder.

Paul Anderson, one of the sponsors says this:

We will be pouring beers from Moylans as they are great examples of the styles of the British Isles. We usually have several styles on tap, and this year we will also be featuring the gold medal winning “Dragoon Irish Dry Stout” brewed by Denise Jones, a very nice ale.

Ticket prices at the gate are: $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for Seniors 60+ and Youths 8 – 18. Children 7 & under are free. Family paks are $30 (2 adults and children under 18). Advance tickets purchased via Pay Pal are $12 for adults & $8 for Seniors & Youths More info:
