It’s a ways away, but Jeff Moses, who produces the Monterey Beer Festival, which happens Saturday, Aug. 2, has 
just released the poster. This is a copy. Can’t think of a more pleasant place for a beer festival.

What a disappointment. I purchased my ticket online . . .stood in line for 1.5 hrs (unsure if it was the proper line) . . .got my ticket and stood in line AGAIN to get in.
After 45 mins in the second line–we left and drank beer on the beach.
You would think it would be much better organized. Two words: CROWD CONTROL. Keep folks informed. I am truly disappointed.

I had a similar experience at a different festival.
The best of intentions – getting to taste new beers.
The worst of results – Trying a person’s patience to the point that you wish you just stayed home and made a trip to BevMO instead.
It makes one think twice before one invests 1.5 hours on the highway to go to a festival.
The good news. The great ones help make up for the poor ones. Sort of like 3 lousy bands, but the 4th band is great.
Hopefully people running these festivals learn from their mistakes.
