I actually thing ethanol would be a better use for corn than for high fructose corn syrup, the uber-sweetner that pervades American food. The Coors family is famously conservative. Don't think that makes them anti-environmentalists. The brewery in Colorado has a great reputation among beer people. The brewery has been very supportive of the craft beer movement. But God, I have no idea about the ethanol. Maybe they're just being good businesspeople and looking for a way to recycle their old beer. Yeah, it’s interesting, isn’t it. The Coors family is famously conservative. In fact if you ever go to the Heritage Foundation in DC you'd notice the auditorium is named after the family and the beers poured at special events are all Coors related brews.
