I have always heard good things about the Broken Drum, but after my first experience last week I have to disagree. Overcrowded and the beers, while all brewed on site, are just OK. I felt “Pint Sized” also a bar on 4th street had a much better selection of brews…Speakeasy, Firestone, Lagunitas and at least 5-6 other good beers I can’t remember and didn’t sample. Haven’t tried Iron Springs yet, heard good things. I’d have to say Marin Brew Co. and Moylans (Same Owners) are the best places for good beer in Marin.
