Beer and wine in the Bay Area and beyond

Two buck 29?

I’m less concerned about the Governor’s proposed wine tax slightly hiking up the price of Charles Shaw wines and more irked by the devastating number of layoffs it would bring to California. Like we don’t have enough already.

Whether you cook with it or serve it to a date in your college dorm, I’m guessing most people wouldn’t mind paying another 29 cents for Charles Shaw. Am I right? Post your comments here.

For a bunch of folk in the legislature who make more than any state legislature in the country plus per deim, um no.

Learn to live within your means, I mean there have been a few bills trying to require it in California, but the government never tries. Let them life with their mistakes.

All taxes are bad, especially since all taxes are paid by the consumer. Why don’t we make government responsible? Instead of bailing them out when they make bad decisions that cause waste, let’s make them responsible by NOT voting for incumbants. When in doubt vote them out!

Two Buck Chuck, unfortunately, is swill at any price, tiresome after the second sip.
