Late-night special at Oakland’s A Cote

A Cote Restaurant in Rockridge

Just got wind of this super sweet night owl deal at A Cote, one of my favorite restaurants in Rockridge, and just wanted to share.

You get a half order of their mussels from the wood oven plus their county-famous pommes frites with aioli accompanied by your choice of a glass of crisp French rose or aromatic Delirium Tremens Belgian ale all for the bargain price of $12.

The deal is valid on Wednesday and Thursdays from 10 to 11 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.

By the way, if you’re as impressed as I am by A Cote’s wine list, remember that wine buyer Jeff Berlin is happy to sell you a single bottle or mixed case subscription at retail prices. You can reach Jeff at jeffb@acoterestaurant.com.

Wonder what sort of yummy specials will be available at the new A Cote in Glenview…
