I went to BevMo today to get the Cotes du Rhone and the Zin. I found the first, but they were out of the latter, which would be no big deal because, I thought, I could just get it at another BevMo, right? Wrong. Apparently, the whole state is out of 2007 Challis Lane Old Vine Zinfandel at $7.99/2 except for the San Mateo and Irvine stores. You need to work a little harder to build up your readership in San Mateo and Irvine. :) Meanwhile, I substituted a 2008 Challis Lane Shiraz at the same price and am enjoying it very much as I type.
