This Saturday, April 24, the 7th annual Bay Area Firkin Fest will be held at Triple Rock Brewery in Berkeley. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. and tickets are $20. Admission includes a commemorative logo glass and six 4-oz. pours. Additional samples may be purchased for $2 each (or 3 for $5). This is one of the most fun festivals of the season, especially if you love cask beer. See you there.

it is agood event…and it is for a good cause…but it is always over-crowded…and they are having it on the same day as the “sf iternational beerfest”…which is the best fest in the bay area..oh well …maybe next year they’ll have them a week apart…

I attended this fesitval two years ago. The beers offered were excellent. Once I got in, I found a beer lover’s heaven.

Day after the festival, I had harsh words for the management of the festival. I hope the people running the festival have upped their game.

If you are considering attending, I encourage you to do so. The beer is worth the gamble.
