Bay Area Firkin Fest This Saturday

This Saturday, April 24, the 7th annual Bay Area Firkin Fest will be held at Triple Rock Brewery in Berkeley. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. and tickets are $20. Admission includes a commemorative logo glass and six 4-oz. pours. Additional samples may be purchased for $2 each (or 3 for $5). This is one of the most fun festivals of the season, especially if you love cask beer. See you there.

it is agood event…and it is for a good cause…but it is always over-crowded…and they are having it on the same day as the “sf iternational beerfest”…which is the best fest in the bay area..oh well …maybe next year they’ll have them a week apart…

I attended this fesitval two years ago. The beers offered were excellent. Once I got in, I found a beer lover’s heaven.
Day after the festival, I had harsh words for the management of the festival. I hope the people running the festival have upped their game.
If you are considering attending, I encourage you to do so. The beer is worth the gamble.
