Suite Judy Blue Eyes should be played on every tour…

Thanks for the setlist! I’m taking my one-year-old for her first ever concert tonight at the Santa Barbara Bowl. I hope Stills isn’t as drunk as he was the last time they blew through town!

couldn’t uou play the wonderful tunes of csn and after the storm instead and some NEW stuff would be nice - new like written yesterday or so

totally dissapointing…. i’m going to see them in dayton with friends and my enthusiasm is waning after seeing the playlist… i guess they really do need neil to pull off a great show like the last csny tour

The setlist appears somewhat safe, and lazy. A concert that could be phoned in. I hope I’m wrong. Their concerts can be the best you’ve seen…or not. I’ll be seeing them in Dayton this week- I’ll let you know.

saw them in Minneapolis this past Friday…was a good show..not as good as 2006, but the boys voices were strong, but, why don’t they do Suite Judy Blue Eyes? I don’t get it…I don’t think their set list changes too much, but they did play Cathedral, which was really wonderful.

Going to see CSN Saturday night at Meadowbrook Theatre outside of Detroit. I agree, this looks like a pretty safe set. I guess I was thinking that they would do some individual songs (Treetop Flyer etc…) like the last time they were around (including Young). But we did manage front row for this one, so were still looking forward to it.

I am seeing them as well at the Fraze tomorrow night! At this point….I don’t care how “lazy” you think the setlist is….it’s still CSN….and those are a lot of my favorites. ESPECIALLY Southern Cross….best song EVER!

At least 3 of the above bloggers were to see the concert in Dayton last night. My fears were unfounded. They stuck to about 60% of the above set list- beginnng the show with Love The One You’re With. They shone in Long Time Gone, and Deja Vu was perhaps the highlight. Our House was just OK. Guinevere was exquisite. Also outstanding: Helplessly Hoping, You Don’t Have to Cry, Cathedral, with Almost Cut My Hair and Wooden Ships being musically orgasmic. There were a few rough spots, but nothing of consequence.
Perfect summer concert weather, with the Fraze being perhaps my favorite venue. An A+ concert.

THE FRAZE SHOW WAS GREAT ONLY A FEW MINOR ELECTRICAL HITCHES GUTIAR FEEDBACK, BUT ITS STILL CSN AND ENJOY THEM WHILE THEIR STILL ALL HERE WITH US AND THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT GREAT NIGHT FOR OUTDOOR SHOW

I saw them at Meadow Brook near Detroit last night. I was disappointed they did not sing ‘Suite’. After hearing Stills struggle with a lot of the vocals, I am not sure his voice is strong enough to sing ‘Suite’ anymore. Otherwise, a great show.

seeing them tomorrow night at meadow brooke in gilford, they never disapoint…especially on stage
July 23rd, 2008 at 12:11 pm
Are there opening acts for this summer’s tour? I’m seeing them Friday night in Boston but no word on an opener. Didn’t know if I need to get there right at 7:30 or not.
July 23rd, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Saw them in Montreal last night….great show…was a bit dissappointed that ‘Carry On’, ‘Woodstock’ or ‘Sweet Judy Blue Eyes’ were not part of the setlist though.

Anyone with the setlist from gilford…?John Smith…how was the show?

I don’t recall the order, really but I know these songs were played:
Marrakesh Express
Almost Cut My Hair
Our House
For What Its Worth
Love The One You’re With
Southern Cross
Wooden Ships
Moondance Jam
Helplessly Hoping
Teach Your Children
Delta
Guinevere
Winchester Cathedral
Long Time Gone
There were a few others including a great protest cover that I want to track down.
They played as many songs as “Crosby could remember the words to,” according to Nash.

Anyone know the set list from July 29th in Central Park?
July 31st, 2008 at 4:47 pm
Anyone have the setlist for July 29th at Central Park?
July 31st, 2008 at 6:27 pm
Can anyone tell me the song Nash did alone that was a protest song? I think he said it was new(er)? And possibly written by someone else?
August 1st, 2008 at 10:47 am
Casey, are you talking about Military Madness?
August 3rd, 2008 at 5:29 pm
Does anyone have a setlist for August 2 at Chastain Park in Atlanta? And I think the protest song that Nash sang was called “In Your Name”

“There were a few others including a great protest cover that I want to track down.”
Yes, it was a song by Joel Rafael called “This is my country.”
