Goldstein, former owner of Square One restaurant, has written dozens of cookbooks. Her latest, Mediterranean Fresh: A Compendium of Salad Meals and Mix and Match Dressings, explores her knack for keeping salad interesting. Goldstein writes about wine pairings for the San Francisco Chronicle, so surely there will be talk of her favorite salad vino.
Owner and chef of Bi Rite, Sam Mogannum, will be preparing a salad from the book. Enjoy the talk and taste!
