Boy George comes back to the Club.

WHATAP NATION!!,
Welcome back to the Dark Side, rebel scum. I sense something… a presence I’ve not felt since…
Lord Emperor have mercy..and you thought the KERRY signing was bad??!?
If you haven’t heard, or are living in a Rancor pit, big arm-non mobile Jeff George has come back to our beloved Oakland Raiders and the natives are writing restless, the Nation cries for an explanation and the opposition laughs with great pleasure.

NFL fans please… stop all of that damn barking. (Well, at least this present news gets the fans away from viewing T “Lance Armstrong” Owens on his beloved tricycle for the 100th time!)

The force tells me he will not be anything more than a backup signed for a Sapp hungry man dinner. The force also tells me he’ll be lucky to even make the team. But, I do believe this will motivate Tui and Andrew to practice just a tad bit harder to prepare for the up and coming season. Especially since Tui has never truly fell into big Al’s favor.

“It’s just a precaution for us-because you can lose a quarterback and then when you lose one, you have to have somebody ready to go”. Coach Art Shell has said.
Now, I’m never going to truly second guess Jedi Master Shell..but isn’t that’s what Tui and Drew are for? We already had a statue with a blaster gun in back of the line last year and it got us no where. I believe we will always need a QB with wheels for today’s NFL (with the exception of the menacing freak P.Manning) and to sign this old man river to our polished vessel brings great disrespect and dishonor to our other active QB’s. If I was either of them, I’d be damned if I was too lose my job to a QB that ran around the Atlanta stadium after ONE meaningless victory. And no, it wasn’t the Super Bowl. ecck.

Although, if it’s one thing that I envied throughout the years, it’s Mr. Davis loyalty to his old players he loved in the past. His belief to find the second coming of the Mad Bomber, or maybe even the great Mr George Blanda. I actually compliment his “always thinking outside of the box” method. In world of returning Coaches and past players that are now assistants, how can we actually really be surprised?????

So in the end, Jeff..welcome back to the Oak tree and get that Cannon ready. It’s go time, Dark Knight. We hope to see the pigs fly faster than we remember. Yes, you once had a great statistical season with us, but the East bay Empire only remembers winning, not losing. Tui, man the hell up.Drew, just heal up. And I pray the Force is bestowed upon all of your arms to make you perform with the great power of a Sith Lord…

At least I hope so, for your sake. Emperor Davis is not as forgiving as I am…..

Paint it Silver and Black…always…

A long time ago…in the great city of O..

Please allow me to introduce myself; I’m a man of no wealth and no taste. I’ve been around for so many long, long years, enough to know my Raiders fate. I was around when the legend named Brown had his moment, then went down in pain. Pleased to meet you, hope u guessed my name…

If you haven’t? no big deal.

Most people call me Darth Raider, Lord of the Sith, Master of all evil. Credentials? Since ‘95, I’ve been to every single home game (pre season/regular) in Oakland and don’t intend on missing one. I’m also in the Pro Football Hall of Fame; listed as the 2002 greatest fan, participated in countless news segments, am a playable character in a video game, study Raider Football daily, re-watch games weekly and actually physically train to be a professional Oakland Raider (uh, still waiting for the call..).

I’ve also experienced a few away games and speak more louder than you in the northern end zone (which I’ve respectfully named the Dark Side). Hopefully, I qualify for my own blog.
I promise I’ll represent the infamous Raider Nation well. Damn, do I love that Carl Weathers voice-over. “ONE NATION..” “THERE IS NO TOMORROW!!!”

Enough about me and Apollo. How about those last 2 games, empire? Yeah it’s only practice, but I do believe we are heading in the right direction. This team looked a hell of a lot better than last year in pre season. Last year you still had Chuck not watching film, Norv still not bringing out the best in his players, the Tight End was still practically obsolete, the line was still broken, the defensive strategy was still in a state of flux, while Kerry was still being…Kerry.

That was then. This is the present. Now I see (through fogged lenses), a Coach that demands the best from his players, a Defense makin’ more plays than Broadway, new Tight End routes implemented, an O line that gets meaner with every snap, a more consistent Lamont Jordon and finally a mobile, bullet passing Quarterback. That pass on 3 defenders was something this old Sith hasn’t seen since the Gannon days.

Hell, and how can I forget Randy “A game” Moss? Hey Rebels, you know what the man does. He play lights out Football, homey and fears no damn defender in the world. Try to battle? You better bring the whole secondary. Might as well bring the Linebackers and Linemen too…are the fans legal?

The Defense seems to be locking down on the opposition like futuristic Terminators. Sapp? I believed in you when others kept telling me you’re through..done..washed up and headed to the 2nd team by week 2 of last year. And there you were, Friday.. bum rushing the line so that home grown Kirk can come up with the pick. You and Moss are Natural born Killers and Leaders. You guys keep preaching passion and surely you’ll get this team back on it’s feet and headed towards making noise in the Playoffs. Remember, leadership reflects on attitude, Denzal.

Nation, skys the limit with this team. As long as the players keep progressing and keep finding new methods of attack, we can beat ANY team. ANY TEAM! Yeah, I said it. Try to tell me different and I’ll tell you your lack of faith is disturbing, wanker. I might even force grab or get out the Saber, so watch it. You don’t truly know the power of the Dark side, until my Lightsaber pokes you in those troll like eyes, little Rex.

Until next time Nation..you keep it silver and black.
