I sense in your heart of hearts, you feel it’s truly only a one man battle: Daunte Culpepper of old versus Duante Culpepper of 2007. I applaud your insight, young Padawon…but you still have much to learn.
Against the Lambs, Josh McCown completed 6/9 passes gaining 138 yards while Daunte was 4/8 gaining 47 yards and scoring one big TD. Sure, Josh was going against the 2nd team last Friday, but check this out; throughout the Pre-season (with 1 game McCown was also starting) he has completed 19/35 passes for a net of 277 yards. Daunte? 15/28 for only 200 yards. The big difference in the two?

But I do believe I need to see one more game played before I make a final decision.

I say again to all my fellow Raider fans in response to all of this BS…

Number 1? It’s Pre-season. There are so many injuries and starting line changes that occur during the week that it makes it impossible for fans to observe the best of the best from their team. Frank Gore wasn’t in and Andrew Walter isn’t necessarily going to start our 1st game against the Detroit Lions.
Number 2? The Starters (The guys you really care about) had the most playing time in the 1st half!!! (I.E. Alex Smith, Lamont Jordan, Rhodes, Clemonts, Porter, etc.)
Final score 49ers 13 Raiders 14!!!!
End of Story.
Let us now focus more on what REALLY matters to the Dark Lord of the Sith. I will now list who I believe who will be in the starting Offense and in the rotation for your Oakland Raiders. (subject to change in the up and coming weeks(:)
