Damnation

Yaaaawn, does it really surprise you anymore?
You know what’s going to happen…
I know what’s going to happen..
You hope it’s not going to happen….
then shit happens….
At least I have a new found perspective. Today and tonight, I don’t want the kid in. We have too many holes to fill in this destructive, weakened, brittle dam. The water keeps breaking through gaps in so many areas, it makes it almost impossible to believe one plug will fix the entire wall.
Plugs that were noticed today….
Jano….Slim, you are reborn hard again. I almost expect three every time Kiff calls your number. This has not always been the case.
I believe I heard it was something like 16 out of your last 17 Field Goals? You’re foot has become a deadly weapon again, sir .Maybe you’re just waiting for the opportunity to attempt a 60 yarder again. Does that drive you harder? You betcha..
Way to work, kid.
Daunte, there are still things about your game the Sith does not like. I.E. The case of Fumbleitis, the lack of mobility from center, your QB vision, your lack of speed outside of the pocket, etc, etc..
but today you proved you’re better than the other guy.
23/39 for 344 yards with one TD might be your best game of this losing season.
Could we of improved our execution on 3rd downs? You bet.
Should we of received more points off of the 6 total turnovers? Hell the F$#& yeah!
But honestly though, Pep..I didn’t think you could manage that total again. You did alright in my eyes while others will tell you you’re still a bum..
Faced.
Ronald Curry, you made next year’s team with that superb catch with two defenders on you like Roaches to Hotels. I always knew you had it in ya..
I’m just glad I witnessed the A game again. 4 catches for 120 yards? Yeah, I think you might be the only receiver I’d carry on for next year…
The high man on Defense was once again, Oakland’s own, Mr. Captain Kirk Morrison with 8 tackles. I swear I’m picking up your jersey soon, son.
Sure, you would have liked your run defense to improve..
Sure, you wish your team could defend the pass more efficiently..
Sure, not all of the Linebacker’s can read as fast as you….
but let’s face it, we know you’re not the main problem, kid.
As a matter of fact, as I look around your defensive squad, I realize there is still some talent at many positions…
That fact makes me wonder if Ryan is going to keep his job next year.
Yeah, I know many of you like the long haired hippie ( I do 2 to a degree)
… but we can’t stop Wasps at this point…
You tell me the problem!!! ( I’m now sensing the word “Stuart” comes to many people’s minds)
This just in…
The JaMarcus Russell era in Oakland likely will begin Dec. 2, sources told the media.
The Raiders have circled Dec. 2 vs. the Broncos as the likely starting debut for the 2007 No. 1 overall pick, team sources said.
Russell’s “light came on” a couple of weeks ago, a source told ESPN.
Russell had a great week of practice, then weighed in at 259 on Friday after hovering in the 270s most of the season.
Unless Duante Culpepper excels the next few weeks, Russell likely will get all starts in December.
Russell held out all of training camp in a contract dispute before agreeing to a six-year contract that carries a maximum value of $68 million, a league rookie record. His first practice was Sept. 12.
So much for keeping the kid on lock down. Let’s just hope the sources don’t know Di$&.

Its’ not losing games we should be worried about, NFL is trying to take the Oakland Raiders from Oakland, its’ fans and Al Davis. The league has pretended to be regulated and honest while it plots to move two teams from their present cities and put them in Canada and Los Angeles. They are going after old school owners like Ralph Wilson (Bills) and Davis. The Raiders left Oakland and came back, Raider Nation has proven they’ll support this club and keep selling out McAfee. They want to have corporations and billionaires take over these famous franchises with people loyal to NFL CEOs instead of their fans and employees and move these teams away. If the NFL wants a team in L.A or Canada send the Patriots. Raider Nation you saw one of the most talented offenses in the league (Moss, Porter, Curry, Jordan and Madsen) score only 12 tds and you got conned into thinking the O-line and Art and Porters b.s. was to blame. The talent level has not been that far from the Colts and Patriots the five seasons but somehow this team fails. Trust me it’s the NFL not Al.
