Return of Victory

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, INDEED!!!!
You awake each and every early Sunday morning, watch the Player interviews, the damn sideline reports, the horrible NFL recap shows and read the wet Newspapers hoping for the best each and every Sunday…
You hope, pray and wish that one particular Sunday was no longer like the others..
then….the inevitable happens, with a hangover intact.
You ponder what should of been..
what could of been..
what it would be like if we finally finished close games..
You then ponder when a Sunday will be more uplifting to your soul, health and general well being..
PONDER NO MORE NATION, WE’VE FINALLY GOT A DUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Insert crowd noise here)
Celebrate, dear Nation. Celebrate until your voice is hoarse and head is sore. Celebrate like it’s the year 3000. Celebrate like you lost weight, like your baby boy was born,
like you passed Statistics, like you got a promotion…
like your team hasn’t won in only God knows how many weeks….
Heaven forbid!
Justin, you’re the main reason we got this done. You helped us get the 17 AFC divisional loss Monkey off of our bruised backs..
“It is all the same,” said Fargas, who had the Raiders’ first 100-yard rushing day in Kansas City in 29 years. “It feels good to beat the Chiefs. It feels good to get a divisional win and get things going in the right direction for this team.”
Can anyone really remember ALL of our past divisional losses?
“You don’t really think back to past games,” Fargas said. “You try to live in the moment and take advantage of the opportunities that you have. It feels so good, a divisional opponent. We haven’t beaten them in so long. It feels good for the guys in the locker room to get over that hump.”
I’m glad all of the hard work has finally paid off, son of a Bear.
Culpepper also had an outstanding day today.
Yeah, passing for 170 yards is not quite setting the NFL record books on fire..but you made the passes you needed to make, sir.
Despite the lack of stability and discipline infested in our Offensive Line..
Despite the Oakland Receivers not always catching the balls they needed to catch..
Despite the fact that you know the Kid will eventually replace you at some point…
you maintained your balance.
May the force be with you, Master Jedi.
Thank you also for the 10 yard TD run, Mr. Lamont Jordan. Does this mean you still want to escape from the big O? EHHH! Think about it another day, kid!!!
How about the play of my main man, Mr. Cap n’ Kirk Morrison?
He racked up over 10 tackles and executed a 4th and 1 stop that could put down Godzilla AND Rodan.
My word, that kid keeps getting better and better. Must be something in the Oakland waters…
that’s not being spilled from a boat.
Lord, am I now happy I beat KC last night at Madden.
Everyone needs a Voodoo doll.
This all serves you right, KC. Did you really think dressing up a hic to be Darth Vader and then kicking him with your crappy dog mascot would diminish Oakland Raider enthusiasm and belief??
Guess it turned the other way, Chief Chumps.
Fools, you should of known by now..
not to F#$& with the powers of the Dark side.
Lets give the Bronco’s hell.
-DR.

Feels pretty good. I wonder what koolkell is going to blame al davis for after this game. I’m sure he will find something. Great game!

Yes today everything is good, coffee taste so much better today. I have a KC fan here and I have not said a word to him. I just walk by him with a big smile on my face. Let’s enjoy the big win and see if they can carry the momentum into next weeks game at home. Good game planning Big Al! I figure since there are a lot of fans how blame him for the losses. I would give him credit for the win.
Win,lose or tie Silver and Black till I die.

I saw that little skit and was shocked myself. How dare they disrespect Darth Raider like that. Speaking of hicks, you should kick Barrel Man in the chest like that next Sunday!

Cool! Now lets get denver and san diego!!

I did not see the skit but oh what a sweet victory. You knew it had to hapen sooner or later with all the close games we have played but for it to happen in K.C. is sweeter yet. I wished I had taped the game to get a better look at the line play as I never dreamed that McQuistan could ever hold his own but he did over all and I am still amazed.
“Kudos” to : Kiffen for his game plan of running the ball straight ahead and not sideways, for throwing the ball down field and not sideways like you see so much of these days in football; to Fargas for his toughness and determination, if we could infuse just a smidgen of your heart into the rest of the offense; to the defense for the 4th quarter stand that put the ball back in the hands of Fargas; to Seabass for making all the field goals.
I wish a hearty get well soon to “Coop”…you are the heart and soul of the special teams.

Oh and a big “Kudos” to Jerry Porter, what ever got you up for the game keep on keeping
on bro…

IT DOESN’T MATTER IF CULPEPPER ONLY PASSED FOR 170 YDS. HE DID WHAT HE HAD TO DO TO GET THE WIN. AT THE METRODOME HE PASSED FOR OVER 300 YDS AND RAIDERS STILL LOST. WHAT’S IMPORTANT IS THAT THE PEP IS HOT RIGHT NOW AND HIS PCT AND PASSER RATING HAS IMPROVED. SO, LET’S HOPE THAT THE MOMEMTUM CONTINUES INTO THIS WEEKEND’S HOME GAME AGAINST THE BRONCOS. THIS WIN IS STILL BETTERING THEIR SEASON RECORD AND THAT IS CERTAINLY SOMETHING TO BUILD UPON. GO RAIDERS!!

Glad to see the “D” back in business! Hell of a stop with 4th and 1 — knew you had it in
you! Happy to see it on the field! Thanks Pep for a solid game…and Fargas? My 6 year
old and I say our prayers every night…and we thank God for your contributions! Keep
up the amazing work.
And also, to the man — the myth — the legend…Darth Raider — since we are giving
thanks (even post holiday) thank you sir for the great words of wisdom every week.
Being a RAIDER fan in Florida is not easy…but with your postings I feel like I’m part of
the NATION regardless of where I live!
Now — onto Denver! GO RAIDERS!
