Define shocking the World

By Charles Ybarra
Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 at 11:24 pm in Oakland Raiders.

Sorry Pat fans. I hate to be a damn hater….

but you had it f%^&ing comin’…

I even told you all in the last blog..
sometimes if you believe enough in the underdog, good things will eventually happen.

I’ve been told, the power of the dark side will never be underestimated again.

On top of the Giants victory tonight, I won 400 bones and spent the night cheering/drinking/eating with some of my closest and dearest friends on the planet.
…I just hope you all had the same kind of night, Nation!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhh…life is good.

I swear I haven’t felt this good since my basketball team won the championship..
or possibly since ‘83…
Eh, maybe it’s just the Tequila talking.

Keep dreaming, Nation. I swear one day we will witness once again what Giant fans are feeling this present evening.

With belief, comes being competitive…
And once you’re competitive,
sky’s the damn limit for this team.
Keep believing……..

Know that for every champion, there lies a respected underdog..
an Ali…
a Frazier…
a Duran..
a Namath..
a Stabler…
a Seabiscuit
a Mutombo..
a Jordan..
a rookie named Magic…
a Baron Davis…

Hey, if Eli can grab a ring?!?!??!! ANYONE CAN!!!!!!!!
TO THE FUTURE, NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND TO THE DAMN UNDERDOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cheers!
DR

I am happy Boothe has a ring, he was a great guy, but I am much more happy MOSS HAS NOT A RING.

He suck, he is good when is team is alredy good. The Patriots would have gone to Super Bowl without him and Wes Welker is much more important for them, giving them a lot first downs, than he is.

  2. MidwestSilvernBlack Says:

I’m with you Darth, having faith does pay off when it counts. RANDY MOSS GETS NO RING! I’m not sure if I’m happier with that or that I don’t have to hear about the stories of “..back in 2008 the Patriots capped off a historic perfect season by winning the Super Bowl”, they’re both pretty sweet though.

  3. LINDS...DA RAIDAHRUKAS Says:

RAIDER NATATION,CHECK ONE,TWO ! F@$K THE PATS, f&#K THE GIANTS !WE GOT FREE AGENCY END OF THE MONTH . THE DRAFT IN APRIL.I HEAR WE GOT 26MIL. TO SPEND . I SEE MR DAVIS SPENDING ! THAT BEING SAID LET GET THAT (LT,D-MAC,A DEEP THREAT wr(s)A DOMINATING DT MLB A LIGHTS OUT STRONG SAFETYSIGN SIGN #21 AND #56,KEEP CLEMMONS TOO AND START THIS RAIDER RUKAS ! HOLLA IF U WIT ME !

  4. No More Infield... Says:

Karma is a bitch, ain’t it Randy? And if there is really a God then Randy can watch us win the Superbowl on TV next season…

Make Chad a Raider but don’t give up a number one for him.

  5. Weaselbit Says:

Good defensive line will do it every time.
Patriots could’ve done that slant pattern all night but Bellycheek was to dumb to notice till 2nd half.
    Too bad.
Not kicking the field goal was pretty dumb as well.
Giants got that last possession at the perfect time, but it wouldn’t have mattered if their D hadn’t backhanded Patriots O all night.
Patriots played the one team hat had the personnel and coaches to beat them.
    Let the Senate hearings begin…

  6. Snoopy Says:

The force was strong with the Giants this sunday DR… With Eli And Tyree plus Byurgess at the end. But Moss half assing it on that 2nd to last play that could have been at least a 1st down… Will haunt him and give me a nuke card to anyone dumb enough to defend him or the Patsy’s for the rest of my life.

Poetic Justice baby!!! The trumped up TUCK rule have followed the Asterics since it happened but their success has shielded them from reproach… BUT the TUCK that followed Brady and in a (OH, so similar fashion) followed Brady all day long and grabbed his throwing arm, HARD… As if saying to him, the NFL and the officials!!! NO FRICKEN WAY YOU’RE GONNA STEAL THIS FUMBLE AWAY FROM US LIKE YOU DID TO WOODSEN & THE RAIDERS… SCUMBAGS!!

Justice is served NATION! The unbeatable has been beaten… Like the Spartans obliteration the Persion Immortals… The Giants totally B-SLAPED and made mortals of the media crowned unbeaten Patri-AINT’s…

WOW, What a GREAT way to start the 2008 season…I FRICKEN LUV IT BABY!!!

THE crownung jewel will be when soon… maybe this year JaMarcus… A Disciple of the Manning TRAINING camps will be the Superbowl winner and the MVP of the game!!! Now that sounds astonishing!

Here’s to J-Rock Driving a NEW 2009 Cadillac there about this time next year!!!

AS always. Only one nation people & that’s the RAIDER NATION!

  7. suspect Says:

The Reason why the Giants won the SB is cause they had heart.

Chad Johnson told everyone on TV during the super bowl for AL to pick him up. He wants to go to the Raiders. Well Al lets pick him up. He’s still young and he is what we need. The draft has no big play recievers this year and anyways we need Dorsey or Ellis in the first round. He will give QB’s And RB’s nightmares. He will be the real deal. Get the DT in the first round and get Ocho Cinco. He is a Raider at heart. Moss is a piece of S@#t. He has no heart

  8. suspect Says:

Ocho Cinco knows that JR is a beast they will be the best QB WR tandem in history. JR has the arm and the accuraccy. Johnson has the speed and catch ability to make those big plays. I know he will buy into Lanes program and be a true player. Also he is not like Moss. His coach was trying to blame him for this seasons demise of the bengals. But he managed to get over 1400 yds this year. He was not the problem in Cinci and i dont think he will be in Oakland.

  9. B-E-T-5-1-0 Says:

Exactly…with J-Russ at QB, Zach Miller at TE, an improving O-line, Micheal Bush & D-Rhodes coming back at RB, (& possibly Fargas too), all the Raiders need (for Offense) now is playmaking WR. Then we could draft Dorsey, Ellis, or Long with the 1st round pick.

But what would the Bengals take in exchange for Chad Johnson??? Stuart Shwiegert, a 4th round pick (de-ja vu), and a WR (if we could re-sign Porter then trade him, or trade Jonnie Lee Higgins. How does that sound!?

  10. suspect Says:

we should give them the 2nd round pick and Fabian Washington also packaged with Shwigert

  11. tyrant83 Says:

i think that we should give up one of our two 4th rounders; Standord Route(he was the second pick 2006); and definitely s&it&y Stuart. We can pick up Ellis(Dorsey has injury problems)We already have Cooper, but injury prone again.Silva from Boston College is a nasty football player. And we need a tackling safety so Huff can play his normal position FS. Then he won’t have to cover for Stuart. Just look at Sanders from Indi to see the importance of a Tackling safety in the 4-3.

  12. SinCityRaider Says:

I dig Ocho Cinco coming over, but forget any specific names. What the Nation needs is simple. A MENTALITY OF DARKNESS AND DOMINATION, OF UTTER DESTRUCTION FOR ANY THAT LINE UP ACROSS THEM. Get that mindset firm, and any player we draft will destroy his opposition. The Nation then would rise to a long period of dominance. Simple as that. They need to change their vision and thought process. If they had even a tenth of the hatred in their blood that I feel looking at opposing teams, they would b e undefeated every year.
