Another tremor in the Force.

By Charles Ybarra
Sunday, September 28th, 2008 at 11:13 pm in Oakland Raiders.

It’s so hard to be the negative Buttocks which is you, child.
To even see the game as you see it, at such a young, new and crispy age.

Jings..here I go.

I see progression from the Defense, JaMarcus (277 yards!), Coaches, etc..
and all you see is a poofy team that loses.. that will NEVER arise from despair.
You threaten to leave and never come back (for the 3rd time….)
You continue to give the team grief for
..losing once again..
..not running enough..
..ONLY running for 5 yards on 1st down..
..JaMarcus over throwing his receivers…
..Not making plays in the 4th Quarter..
..peeing on your Corn Flakes
etc…etc.
..While I see a injured team that still improves each and every time they take the field, but is still learning how to finish and close out games.
I still wonder if the kid that sat beside me had ever even played Football in his entire life..
the poor, misinformed and passive Tadpole.
Maybe if he did, he would realize that 5 yards on 1st down can be the team’s best play of the game…
..Players get tired in Sunny weather..
..shouting on Offense is moronic..
..He’d realize that even when our team is losing, they STILL can gain experience…
and while you saw JaMarcus over throw kids and remained a little rattled…
I saw Linemen get beaten the F$&* up…causing JR to throw towards the sidelines and no where near his intended Receivers.
Eh, maybe the kid will come across this blog sometime..listen more to his Football Elders, or just simply watch the game again.

Please, children of today, i beg you all; educate yourselves!!! Rewatch the tape and unlearn! It’s your only damn hope!!!!
uh…thank you.

Ok, that was my meaningless rant for the youth of today…
now on to the others!!!

Kwame Harris, I complained about your lack of skill from Day 1 of your signing. People said I was wrong, thought I was too harsh, negative and opinionated about you..blahblahblahblah..
while I simply defended my barking with honest fact.

I have to tell ya, I hate being right sometimes.

For those who missed it, Mr. Harris was responsible for picking up the outside rush on the weak side and gave up a sack which resulted in a fumble while the Raiders were still up 15-10 in the 4th Quarter. If the Raiders would of scored on that series, I believe we’d all be in a better mood on this dark and dreary evening.
He wasn’t the only one at fault. I believe if JaMarcus had run on a few downs rather than to try to force a throw..
If a certain Lineman didn’t hold on a Goal line situation..
If the Defense was more conditioned near the end of the game, etc. etc.
you get the idea.

To Hell with it. You’ve all seen the game.

By now, you all know the Oakland Raiders strengths and weaknesses after 4 games…
everyone else does.

Strengths: a fresh Running game, Special Teams, a fresh O-line, a confident Jam Russell, Zack Miller and most of our Defense..
Weaknesses: an injured running game, a tired O-Line and D, WR’s,an unsure JR and…

UGH..D Hall.

D Hall…damn, I was just going to take back every negative thing I ever said about you after that Interception..
Then they abused you like a crash test dummy..yet again.
Eh, the jury is still out on you, bub…
but so far? the seasonal report card is not looking good.
Thank the Lord for the Quarter system.

Lane Kiffin, this was your best Coaching effort by far. I really don’t understand why the Emperor and others think the team will be in better shape with James Lofton, Rob Ryan or yet another inexperienced Coach at the helm..
but apparently, they still do.
What a bunch of excrement.

If you’re not here by the next game…
we’re in for a longer damn year than I have anticipated.

Sigh..it is tough to move onwards.
Maybe we’ll have better luck after the bye week…

but hard to see, the Dark side always is.

Strength and Honor,
The Mighty DR

    Darth Raider,
As a devoted Raider fan in Iraq week by week i am amazed at how poorly we finish games. Week in and week out i have to hear about how much the raiders suck, through and through im sticking by my raiders. If there is anything you could suggest to keep my motivation high while in this time of termoil would be helpful. Keep your head up all will be good in time.

    Sincerely,
    Iraq Raider Fan

  2. DR Says:

Tell those bastards that you have to break a few eggs to make an Omelette..
Exercise always helps my motivation..(I’m sure u get plently in Iraq)
While also realizing no NFL Team stays on top for long..
    Even Denver loss to KC!!
We also lost to playoff teams.

We WILL have our day in the Sun..simply believe.

  3. Modesto Bob Says:

Oh Dark Lord, how are our efforts progressing to send Padwan Miller Zach to those tall skinny pointy beaked things to be cloned ? Great army have we will clones of when that completed be, eh oh dark lord ?

  4. Doc Raider Says:

Wow — I have to say, though, I was not shocked. Disappointed, yes. Shocked…nah. Gotta finish the job boys — our opponents are learning that if they just hang in there, they can outlast our greatest efforts. I do believe that we have a great team — I wonder if the team believes that…God willing we will soon see some proof that they believe in themselves, their ability, and the silver & black!

  5. D_H Says:

    Lord Raider,
Can you please see fit to throw the Emperor down the Death Star’s reactor shaft if he continues to use force lightning on our young Kiff? Admiral Ackbar would be greatly depressed by the lack of time given by the Emperor to return this Nation to glory.

  6. Will Says:

Going back to the 1st season the Raiders came back to Oakland, I am continually amazed at how fans will yell at the wrong times. It’s like they have no concept that our QB & our center are trying to be heard by their teammates. Thanks for bringing it up.

  7. darkknight01 Says:

    DH,

    That is funny! LOL

  8. joemadman Says:

Lord Raider, i myself have much faith in young Kiff, though i must admit i did feel a lil disappointment in the 1st half.Im not sure that 4-2 on the 2 yard line, why we didnt go for it when we are up 13 to nothing, or why didnt we try a running play or 2 to get more yards for sea-bas, instead of looking like a bunch of a$$ clowns going for a 76yarder.
P.S. ive heard in practice Sea-bas get close to this length

  9. Fl_Raider Says:

SSG Westfall , Keep the faith brother, and be safe over there, we need as many true Raider fans as we can get !
I too am sick of the 4th quarter crap outs. Lets just hope we pull things together after our bye week. We are showing alot of promise guys ! TRUST THE FORCE !

    All IN !

  10. seanjohn Says:

whats up with the police harrassing ticket scalpers and t shirt sellers at the game do they not notice the murder rate

  11. seanjohn Says:

would talk about the raiders but its just the typical raiders wonder if thats due to the same defense coordinator we have do we not have enough talent on the defense side to be competitive for 4 quarters.
hate to say it but lane kiffin pointed out that when the team gets tired they have know one to replace them and be effective

  12. G-pa Says:

DR, I was one of those Fans who in the fourth Quarter thought I hate the Raiders, Im not re-newing my season tickets, ( I have 6 ), Im not buying another T-Shirt Hat Sticker or anything else with Raiders on it. But By monday afternoon after hearing all the crap from the haters, I said to my self we must have a special team for so many people to hate us. So I stopped being negative and started being possitive. We have some problems but so far this decade we have won 3 AFC west Titles, 1 AFC chapionship and although we did’nt win we were in the super bowl. So I am going to think positive about our Raiders and hope for the best.

  13. Bryan Says:

Sorry Darth. Kiffin IS EXCREMENT…and thankfully, he has been flushed down the proverbial toilet. Funny how you poke fun at children, whilst naming yourself after a Star Wars character. You consider yourself the authority on Raiders football? Apparently you haven’t been watching the same team I have. It is obvious that he had no control of the team, a soured relationship with his fellow coaches, and a brash arrogance for someone better suited to coach college football. I wish him all the luck in the world of the NCAA. After watching Lane coach his 20 games, it is my opinion that he was a terrible clock manager, a pathetic play caller, and an inept leader. I for one couldn’t take anything seriously from a visor-wearing, baby-faced USC punk; neither could polished NFL veterens or Assistant coaches 10-15 years his senior. Grow up Darth! Have a happy Halloween.

  14. santini sanchez Says:

What’s up d.r I am a true raider fan like you I was out in oakland in nov.last year I was honored to take a picture with a real raider fan it is frustrating what al is doing,I am taking a lot of heat in donkey colorado where I live but I am going to still represent the raiders and the nation and let everybody know once a raider always a raider!we are going to turn this around something gots to give right? We have a lot of talent and were young its a time thing, my ? Is where are the recievers if they show up sometime and start making plays that is going to help j.r with his confidence,we have some kinks in the chain but I know we can get it straight!!fate is in the force!

  15. Big D Says:

    another garbage post

  16. G-pa Says:

Well we all know why this team is in the shape it’s in. Crap rolls down hill, so Kiffen is paying for it. We know he wasn’t the best coach, poor play calling bad clock management, no leadership,so the buck stops at the top. I’m not sad that Kiffen got the axe but maybe there should’ve been more heads rolling. The responseble party for the lack of defense in the 4th qrt.I don’t know, I just want to win baby.

  17. DR Says:

Hello Bryan..True, I have a child like nature added to my Fan persona..but honestly?? In certain ways, I think we all do. Why else would u even be reading my childish blog, sir? Funny how you gather your new opinion written AFTER AL’s conference. Don’t worry, my new blog/take will be coming soon. I must admit, I didn’t think Al could justify most of Kiff’s team allegations…
    but he did!!
The old man out of Brockton, Mass won the verbal battle once again..
    (at least for now)

Big D, suck my saber and thanks 4 reading!!!!

  18. Bryan Says:

Hello again Darth…If you happened to see my post time stamp it was 12:52 pm…approximatley 1 and a half hour PRIOR to Al Davis’s press conference. Just wanted to clear that up.

  19. DR Says:

    Hey Bry,
My bad then, sir. I still think Kiff is a good Coach…
    (the team also agrees)

but I’m still not sure where????

  20. kentuckyraiderbob Says:

I was ready to blame the Raiders defense for allowing the two previous opponents back into the game. After reading your blog, DR, it also appears that the offense gave back points due to ineffective blocking assignments.

I’m still not convinced that the son of Buddy Ryan is the right choice for the Silver and Black, but you have to have at least some continuity in the coaching staff. Lane’s gone, joining the fraternity of previous Raider coaches who have gone on to stellar results. Gruden and Shanihan are two prime examples. I will still try and see every Raider game possible even if it means going out to a bar with Prime Ticket available.

I was furious seeing the loss to San Diego and even worse when Kiffen was fired. But you just move on and let Davis and Kiffen fight that out in court. Bring on the rest of the season!
