Spring basketball action

The Oakland Soldiers tip-off tonight at 7:30 p.m. (PDT) at the Boo Williams Tournament in Hampton, Va. against the Charlotte Royals.
Notables on this year’s Soldiers’ team include St. Mary’s Chris Brew, McClymonds’ Will Cherry, Quincy Hill and Damon Powell, Miramonte’s Eric Obeysekere and Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Jerry Brown and Kevin Green.
