Also, Jared’s assets should be seized for the same purpose. As he is in prison, he will not need them. Jared should also pay for the rehabilitative services. I think Christopher’s hospital bill should scare some sense into Jared. If not, a stern letter demanding that the hospital bill be paid immediately. If that does not work, maybe a threat of garnishment, asset seizure, or other legal action, provided that there is the intent to do so.
