My first is my favorite – make the schools year round, then put the students on different “tracks”. This will accommodate more students, and has been shown to work in other cities. Second idea at least with Peralta, is that there is a vacant nearby school that can be utilized. Make Peralta grades K – 3, and then the site at where Sankofa is currently WAY underenrolled – make it 4 – 6, or even 4 – 8th grades.
