A relevant theme, I have to say. Here is a notice about this week’s performances of The Caucasian Chalk Circle at Oakland Technical High School, as well as some rehearsal photos that were sent my way from the drama program:
Oakland Technical High School’s performing arts department performs Bertolt Brecht’s play, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, on Thursday, April 30, Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m in the school’s auditorium. Drama Teacher Jessa Brie Berkner directs this mythical adventure of goodness and greed, featuring live musicians, comedy, acrobatics, drama, and much more. Purchase tickets at the door: $7 general admission, $5 with a student ID. Oakland Technical High School is located at 4351 Broadway (corner of Broadway and 42nd Street). To reach the auditorium, enter through the gate on 42nd Street.
