Volunteer opportunities abound, I’m told. And you can learn all about them at a volunteer fair organized by the Montclair Community Action Group. It’s from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at Oakland Main Library’s West Auditorium at 14th and Madison streets (entrance on Madison), a few blocks from the Lake Merritt BART stop.
