Have you ever counted the number that have opened and closed in Oakland to the detriment of our students? This game has been going on for years and all it does is get the school board off the hook of meeting educational standards. When will our community realize that in Oakland approval of inadequatly organized and funded charter schools by the Board of Education just propagates a scam that keeps the community from actually obtaining quality education?
