The count for the year of students enrolled at an OUSD school is 20.
By the way, the police come after the shooting, not before. It has been ap[parent over the years that police presence does not deter the killings.

The book cover is especially telling. A white family in a museum looking at an exhibit of photos of a black family.

I read the Trib article and don’t see much about how the parents of the shooting victims were standing with them when they were shot. One wonders if there was a prior parent-child discussion about the wisdom of attending a vigil for an Oakland gunshot victim such as here. You can see that was really a bad idea.

If you think these shootings are bad now they are going to get much worse in the next 12 to 60 months as California De-Polices the ghettos. The withdrawal of police services is already well under way silently and without fanfare.
