According to the readers of Oakland Magazine, the title goes to Crocker Highlands Elementary School. The “Best of” feature doesn’t go into the pick, but there you have it. The superintendent’s kids go there, as many of you know.
Head-Royce was picked as the city’s best private school.

Are you implying that the superintendent’s kid attending the school had something to do with the pick? I can tell you that as a parent, I never heard of any rally to get people to vote for the school. I wasn’t even aware of the category or chance to vote until I read it today.

Uh, no. Wasn’t implying that.

Thanks, it just seemed odd to me to mention Mr. Smith.

I agree that this is considered one of the best schools; in elementary. How about middle or high schools? Thats where the truth hits the pavement.
In Oakland , the hardest tasks come as kids get older. Same goes with parenting right?
It does not matter if the presidents kid goes there- godd is good.
