I asked Troy Flint, the OUSD spokesman, about adult education earlier today. He said the district’s first priority would be to fully restore all early childhood education programs and then see what funding remains.

Do you remember that at the meeting where the Board decided to close the two Adult Schools, Tony Smith promised that if the state restored $$ to ECE, Adult Ed would get some of its money back? Can you call him and ask him if he’s going to keep that promise? And if so, when? The community desperately needs Adult ESL and it’s gone.
